The answer is a combination of the two, but our current emphasis on high-stakes testing lean us to tech as teaching tool. I recently asked about 250 adults how many of them were doing now what they went to college to learn to do. Only six hands went up. Learning is the capital for prosperity in the future, and learning to learn is essential.
