Don't mention it. But we need to rethink the teaching of the creative arts. Because, as I said, we need to be pushing the arts for the very same reasons that we're pushing STEM. It's a huge part of how we provide for our wants and needs, global, locally and personally. Creative arts need to be about communication -- how do I best express this idea, this preference, this position? How do I do so in a way that is going to effectively convey the idea and also be compelling? - dfw

We use to complain about their IM speak way of typing with acronyms and symbols. Think about it. They created a new grammar that is perfect for this form of communication that will almost certainly be a part of their future -- and they did it collaboratively. We should be in awe! - dfw
