<span style="color:#b22222;">[[File:Dfw.jpg|right|Dfw.jpg]]The way that it happens in real life. &nbsp;We are constantly learning for our jobs, our hobbys, our families. &nbsp;Learning is limitless. &nbsp;There is no ceiling.</span>

<span style="color:#b22222;">[[File:Dfw.jpg|right|Dfw.jpg]]I would suggest that they are one in the same. &nbsp;One of the primary purposes of tech is for learning. &nbsp;When I got my first iPad, I saw the amount of reading that I was doing skyrocket. &nbsp;I do not see how anyone could possibly do the learning that we need to do today, culturally, without an understanding of the tools that give us the best access to information.</span>

<span style="color: rgb(178, 34, 34); font-size: 12px;">[[File:Dfw.jpg|right|Dfw.jpg]]I think that building will not go away. &nbsp;What will and should change are the bell schedules, the segregation of disciplines, and the ways that we, in the community, will see our schools. &nbsp;In fact, what if school didn't close. &nbsp;What if the community to visit their schools after dark to learn.</span>

[[File:Dfw.jpg|right|Dfw.jpg]]<span style="color:#b22222;">You know, the thing that is most wrong with a national, or even a state standards is that we're assuring that all children learn the same things. &nbsp;This is necessary to a limited extent. &nbsp;But today, it's not what you know thats the same as everyone else, that brings value to an endeavor. &nbsp;It's what you know that different, how you think that's different, how you approach problems. &nbsp;Are we giving our children opportunities to be unique - uniquely valuable?</span>

<span style="font-size: 12px; color: rgb(178, 34, 34);">I'm talking about all the things that Tony Wagner said in his keynote this morning. &nbsp;Brilliant. &nbsp;He followed my at the school boards conference in Iowa last year and I thought it was a fantastic progression, of my big picture stories and his academic, fact-based and insightful ideas.</span>
