You can insert text, in much the same way that you would with a word processor. However it is a very primitive word processor. ->Hmmm! A little disappointing, though it wasn't your fault. This tool is a personal experiment, and I am constantly hacking it, which I was doing in my hotel room much of the afternoon before. I had it coded to pick up tweets hashtagged with #edtech as an ongoing test. Alas, I forgot to turn that off, hence, a lot of messages coming in from education technologists. I'm leaving them here so that you might scan through and see the sorts of things being shared, most of it important for the professional development of somebody. - dfw

->It's a quote often attributed to Alvin Toffler, though he's not its originator. The complete quote goes something like this. ''"The literate of the future will not be those who can read and write, but those who can learn, unlearn, and relearn."'' Thomas Friedman said very much the same thing in ''The World is Flat.'' - dfw

->Several years ago, I spoke to a group of parents of children who were attending international schools in Hong Kong. I ask them to raise their hands if they were doing now, what they'd attended college to learn to do. Out over about 250 people, only six hands went up. The days of working the same job for an entire career are over for most of us. - dfw
