15 Oct 2011 - 12:38:35

->Yes! But I wonder if it is enough to realize that it motivates them. Why does it motivate them. Is it because it's technology? I don't think so. I think that it is because it empowers them. The can take on some of the control of their learning by having a degree of control over the content that they are exploring. That's it. They become explorers, discovering their world. "Google has turned us into a question-asking culture" #:FallSharing2011
15 Oct 2011 - 12:44:13

->Interestingly, I am headed to Canada right now, where the 3G networking of my iPhone and iPad will not work. I'll be limited to WiFi for access to the net, I will feel so cut off -- because I will not have access to ''answers''.

->That said, I think that it is important to realize, and that we make it a part of our message, that answers are not free. Getting answers is only part of it. We have to work to select the best answers and then to do something with them that helps us to accomplish our goals.
